Leah Dunthorne

Leah has over 20 years' experience in high-performance sport, rehabilitation, and athletic development. A UKSCA-accredited strength & conditioning coach and sports rehabilitator, she holds a first-class BSc and MSc in Sports Science from Loughborough University and an MSc in Sports Injury Rehabilitation from Middlesex University.

Her career spans roles with the Welsh Institute of Sport, Saracens RFC, Pure Sports Medicine, the English Institute of Sport, and Team GB’s BOA Intensive Rehab Unit. Leah has supported athletes to Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth, and World Championship medals—including GB women's hockey gold at Rio 2016.

Leah has worked with top athletes including 200m World Champion Dina Asher-Smith and 100m European silver medalist Reece Prescod in preparation for Paris 2024.

A former international footballer, Leah is endlessly curious about the human body. Outside of coaching, she loves lake swims, mountain cycles, bouldering, fancy coffee, and the occasional surf trip to Wales.
