Set In Brimer, Upstate New York ..


ROZZY has always been the primary caregiver to her adult son, TAYLOR, who is non-verbal & has a learning disability. Over the years, she has learned that with such a diagnosis, no expert will ever know better than her when it comes to her son’s well-being. But when her health takes a turn for the worse, she is not only confronted by a convoluted healthcare system, but her own fallibility - as she fights for both her son's future & ultimately, her own.



DANCING TREE is written by Scott Rashap, with an original story by Karl Hartman. In collaboration with Big Indie Pictures, we are committed to filming this film along new lines - with a cohesive, across the board commitment to true inclusivity, from production to edit. We are in active conversation about shorter days, proper breaks, new forms of collaboration & ethical filming for all.
